Sweet & Spicy Cabbage- Yields 7 servings

1 1/2 T soy sauce

1 1/2 T tamari sauce

2 t red pepper flakes

2 t agave nectar syrup

1/4 t garlic powder

1 medium sized head of green cabbage

Sweet & Spicy Cabbage

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. gently spray your baking sheet with non stick spray. Cut cabbage into even sized wedges- the base of the wedge should be about 2 1/2- 3 inches thick.  I was able to get 7 out of mine. Place wedges face up on the baking sheet. Melt coconut oil over med heat, then add all remaining ingredients to the bowl and whisk. Pour mixture over the wedges- The liquid will run onto the tray- that is fine. Turn wedges over on their sies and rub into the sauce- repeat with the other side of the cabbage wedges. Leave wedges lying down on one side and place the tray into the oven. Roast the cabbage about 30- 35 minutes on your top or middle rack of your oven. Remove from the oven- do not rub the wedges in the sauce on the tray as it may have a charred taste.  Cabbage will be seasoned nicely- still have a little crunch and texture to it- but cooked just enough. Enjoy this quick and easy side dish.
