Pepper Steak

Pepper Steak

This Pepper Steak is tender and flavorful. An easy to put together recipe made in a slow cooker.

1.5 lbs sirloin

2 large peppers

1 large Onion

15 Oz Stewed tomatoes

12 oz mushrooms

3 T soy sauce

1 T coconut oil

1 T Worcester shire sauce

1 t Red pepper flakes

1/2 c beef broth

1 t beef Boullion

1 t salt

Arrowroot slurry

Brown sirloin in coconut oil in a skillet. Drain set aside.

Add slivered onion, sirloin, beef broth, Boullion, Worcester shire sauce, red pepper flakes and salt to your slow cooker. Cook for 1.5 hours. Add sliced Peppers cook for 1 hour. Make arrowroot slurry add to slow cooker with mushrooms too and mix. Cook another 30-45 minutes. Serve over quinoa or brown rice. I enjoyed this by itself.
