Nutritional Yeast Crisps
These Nutritional Yeast Crisps are simply AMAZING. Great tasting, packed with a ton of good for you ingredients. A great homemade alternative to any store bought cracker or flatbread
1/2 c Quinoa flour
1/3 c Water
1/4 c Nutritional Yeast
2 T Flax meal- dark
2 T Millet Seed
2 T green Pea Flour
2 T garbanzo bean flour
2 T coconut oil
1/2 t salt
Preheat a flat top griddle to 350 degrees. Do not put anything on it, no spray oil etc. Have a wire cooling rack handy and non stick spray
Combine all ingredients except the water and coconut oil. Mix well.
Add the water and mix and knead until a sticky dough forms.
Slightly heat coconut oil until it’s soft, not melted. Knead oil into your dough until you achieve a nice soft sough. Do not over work.
Separate dough into 6 portions and roll each into a ball.
Roll out each dough ball on wax paper turning a couple times to ensure it’s evenly flat.
When griddle is ready, gently spray with non stick spray, Place the flatbreads on the griddle ( you can do 3 or 4 at a time) cook for 45 seconds, flip, cook an additional 45 seconds. remove and place on cooling rack. Continue until all flatbreads are made.
Allow to sit until needed. I stored my extra’s in a zip lock bag and placed them in the freezer for future use
