Fresh Ginger and Orange Juice Apple Crisp

This fresh ginger and orange juice apple crisp has a refreshing flavor for an interesting twist rather than just an ordinary dessert, why not spice it up a bit

Fresh ginger and orange juice apple crisp

 

4 apples, cored and sliced

1/4 c orange juice

1 T fresh minced ginger

1 t cinnamon

1 t nutmeg

1/2 t salt

1 Stevia packet

CRUMBLE:

2/3 c quick oats

1/4 c coconut flour

1 scoop About Time cinnamon swirl protein

1/4 c coconut oil

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Gently spray a pie dish with non stick spray. Toss apple slices in the orange juice. In a small bowl mix together the cinnamon, nutmeg, stevia and salt. Pour over apple slices and toss to incorporate. Pour apples in the pie dish and spread evenly

In a separate bowl  mix together the oats, coconut flour and protein. Add the coconut oil and blend in to make your crumble. Top your apples having the mixture fall between the layers. Bake for 25 mins. remove from oven and cool till just warm before serving. Serve with warm caramel sauce, raspberry sauce or coconut whipped cream
