Fig and Prune Squares
These Fig and Prune Squares are a nice crunchy snack that’s high in fiber and can curb that sweet tooth in a much healthier way.
10 dried figs
10 dried prunes
1 scoop About Time cinnamon swirl whey protein isolate
1 T almonds, sliced
1 T carob powder, (can use cocoa powder too)
1 T coconut, unsweetened
1 T water
1/2 T sesame seeds
1/2 T chia seeds
1/2 T flax seed
1 t cinnamon
Place dried fruit into the food processor, blend until slightly chunky. Add the remaining ingredients, pulse until mixture is soft and comes together. Knead dough a bit to form a ball. Roll out between two sheets of wax paper to your desired thickness. Cut into squares or bars. Place on a wire rack to dry a bit, turn after 10 minutes to dry other side. You can eat and enjoy at any time.
tip*- drying helps with storage
