Coconut Flour Pizza Crust

This Coconut Flour Pizza Crust is so simple, an crusty enough to allow me to never have to order out pizza again. Think of the endless opportunities with a healthier crust…

coconut flour pizza crust

1/2 c coconut flour

1/2 c almond flour

1/2 c parmesan cheese

1 scoop About Time unflavored isolate

3 T coconut oil

1 t Italian seasonings

1/2 t salt

1 c water

toppings of your choice: TIP- if you use coarse or watery  vegetables like Brussels sprouts, peppers, eggplant, spinach etc. You will want to sauté these vegetable and par cook them before topping your pizza. if not the  crust will soak up all that water and the vegetables will be under cooked

I used tomatoes. mushroom scallions, feta cheese and garlic powder. drizzled with 2 T melted coconut oil

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix all the dry ingredients together well. Add the coconut oil and cut in with a pastry blender or a fork. Add the water and mix well. This is a soft dough that needs to be hand pressed not rolled.

Spray your pizza pan well. Place the dough in the center and begin to hand press out. Our divide into 4 balls and make small pizzas. Leave the dough at least a 1/4 inch thick, slightly more. Bake for 8-9 minutes. Remove from oven, season crust with garlic powder or seasonings of choice, example, sauce, oil and garlic, pesto etc. top with you toppings (not cheese) and bake an additional 12 minutes. Remove, add cheese and finish baking 2-3 more minutes. Remove from oven and set of 2-3 minutes, cut, enjoy
