Caramel Protein Dip

This Caramel Protein Dip is great to serve warm along side of fruit slices, on whole grain toast or crackers or topping apple crisp or apple pie with this yummy dip

Caramel Protein dip

3/4 c unsweetened almond milk

1/4 c coconut butter

1/4 c date paste

1 scoop About Time cinnamon swirl protein

1 t pure vanilla extract

In a shaker cup mix 1/2 c unsweetened almond milk wit the scoop of protein, set aside. In a small sauce pot over very low heat add 1/4 unsweetened almond milk, heat slightly till warm. Add the date paste and the coconut butter. Stir continuously over the low heat until both items are well blended into the milk, probably 4-5 minutes. You want all the date paste to be smooth and free of chunks. Add the protein mixture to the sauce pot. Stir continuously for an additional 12-14 minutes. Add the vanilla extract and stir 1 more minute.

Serve with fruit, use as a topping on apple crisp, as a glaze on pound cake, frost muffins or cupcakes or as a filling inside of those. I would even cool completely, set in refrigerator. pull out and roll into squares then dip in chocolate as homemade Rolo’s!
