Breakfast Grits with Molasses

This Breakfast grits with Molasses recipe is a sure fire way to please guests on a weekend morning. Top with almond milk or your milk of choice

1 1/2 c water

1/2 c grits

1/2 t salt


1 scoop About Time Vanilla whey protein isolate

4 diced prunes

2 T sliced Almonds

2 T molasses

1 t cinnamon

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees


Combine water and salt, bring to a boil; add grits. Cook until done. Add all items except prunes and almonds, mix well. Pour into a sprayed  baking dish. Top with prunes and almonds. Bake for 25 minutes. Scoop into a bowl, pour in your milk of choice, enjoy. This recipe makes enough for 2 healthy servings
