Vegan Salted Chocolate Candy
This Vegan Salted Chocolate Candy recipe is simple to whip together long as you can wait for them to set up in the freezer. These are a dark chocolate treat. No one would know unless you told them that these are loaded in protein and a better option to other store bought candies. If you have a serious chocolate addiction, these will give you the fix you need! Try adding crushed nuts on top instead of the salt or a whole almond in the center or even try some dried fruit. Once you have the base down you can make so many different options!
Vegan Salted Chocolate Candy
6 T cocoa powder-vegan or melted vegan carob chips
2 scoops chocolate About Time VE
1/3 c melted coconut oil
1 t pure vanilla extract
2 packets Stevia
1/8 t salt
Kosher salt as needed
Blend together the cocoa powder, salt, stevia, vegan protein. Be sure to fold these items together well. Add the Vanilla extract. Cut this in with a fork, try to break up the lumps with the fork or by hand. Add the warm melted coconut oil. Mix into dry powder and stir with a metal spoon until all the lumps are gone. I filled small metal tart tins and made 6 large chocolate pieces. Or you can use chocolate trays and make many smaller bite size treats. Once trays or shells are filled place gently sprinkle the tops with a small amount of kosher salt then place into the freezer until well set. Enjoy
