Hot Chili Cocao

                        Cuddle up on a cold winter night with a healthier, low calorie version of hot chocolate with a KICK!

Total Cook Time: 5 minutes

Makes 2-8 oz servings

 

Ingredients:

 

8 oz Unsweetened Chocolate Almond Milk

8 oz filtered water plus a little more (some steams off on the stove)

2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

Dash Nutmeg

Dash of Chili Powder (I use McCormick’s Cocoa-Chili Powder)

Stevia Drops to taste

2 Warmed Mugs

 

Directions:

1.       Add all ingredients to a small pot.

2.       Heat over stove top on medium stirring constantly.

3.       Once cocoa is mixed well and liquid is steaming, serve in warm mugs

4.       Enjoy. Cinnamon sticks are a great addition to stir with!
