Facebook Live Pancake Mix Recipes

On Friday, March 10 2017, the About Time brand will conduct it’s first ever Facebook live event.  We encourage all of our customers to tune in at noon eastern time to hear our very own Co-founder Devenee Schumacher give insights on each product, as well as, share her favorite recipes. While watching, please ask any questions you may have about a certain product or recipe. If missed, no worries. We added each recipe to this page. Give them a try and let us know how you like them! 1.Cinnamon Spice Banana Muffins

1 c AboutTime Cinnamon Spice pancake mix- (or your favorite flavor)

1 medium mashed banana

Directions: Mix the two items together, scoop into lined and sprayed muffin tins. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes.

** You can add all the fun you want to this recipe. Fresh fruits, nuts, dried fruits anything you may want to add texture, taste to your muffins**

 

2. Maple Syrup Mashed sweet potato pancakes

1 C AboutTime Maple Syrup Pancake Mix (or your favorite flavor)

1/2 c mashed sweet potato

Directions:

Mix the two items together. Spray your waffle maker well, place in batter and spread. Close the lid, bake about 3 minutes or until waffle is cooked.

** You can add all the fun you want to this recipe. Fresh blueberries, nuts, dried fruits anything you may want to add texture, taste or ZIP to your waffle**

 

3.  Chocolate chip pumpkin cookies

1 c AboutTime Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix (or your favorite flavor)

1/2 c pumpkin (canned or fresh- mashed)

Mix both items together. Scoop onto a light colored baking sheet with non stick spray. Bake at 350 degree for 6 minutes.

** You can add all the fun you want to this recipe. Fresh fruit, nuts, candy – anything you may want to add texture and taste to your cookies** We love 1,2 c chocolate chip + 1/2 cup cinnamon spice mix with 1/2 c pumpkin and 1/2 c crushed butterfinger crumbles :)

 

4. Buttermilk blueberry pancakes

1/2 c AboutTime Buttermilk Pancake mix

1/4 c water

Directions:

Mix the two items together. Allow batter to sit for 3 minutes and activate the flax meal. Heat your griddle to 325 degrees. Flip when golden brown, remove when cooked. (Please use a lower heat as protein burns at high heat)

** This mix is great to add fresh fruits too or bananas – scoop your batter onto the griddle- top with your favorites, when golden , flip. remove when completed. Or mix 4 servings plus “fun” items together. Bake in a lined and sprayed 8×8 pan, 350 degrees until cooked to make a great breakfast sponge cake!

 

5.  Vegan Brownies

2.5 c of AboutTime vegan brownie mix

1 mashed avocado

1 c applesauce

Directions:

Mix all items together. Bake at 350 degrees until complete. Around 15 to 20 minutes.

** You can add nuts, seeds, dried fruits or anything to your liking to the mix**

 

6. Vegan Brownie Cookies

1 c AboutTime vegan brownie Mix

1/2 c pumpkin (canned or fresh, mashed)

Directions:

Mix both items together. Scoop onto a light colored baking sheet with non stick spray. Bake at 350 degree for 6 minutes.

** You can add all the fun you want to this recipe. Fresh fruit, nuts, candy – anything you may want to add texture and taste to your cookies**

 

 

7.  Vegan Brownie Muffins

1 c AboutTime Vegan Brownie Mix

1 medium mashed banana

Directions:

Mix the two items together, scoop into lined and sprayed muffin tins. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes.

** You can add all the fun you want to this recipe. Fresh fruits, nuts, dried fruits anything you may want to add texture, taste to your muffins**

 

8. Whey/Vegan Protein Smoothie Bowl

1 c frozen fruit/veggies

1 c liquid (nut milk, juice- anything you desire)

any seasonings, flavoring like vanilla, cinnamon

OR

Greek yogurt + protein – then

Directions: Blend in your blender. I choose frozen items as this makes its extremely thick and yummy. TOP with a variety of nuts, seeds, fruits, dried fruits, oats, granola, chocolate. Get creative and keep your taste buds excited
