Cherry Pie and Cherry Pie Smoothie
A quick and easy Cherry pie and Cherry pie smoothie that will cure any craving for something sweet and delicious. Try this quick and easy recipe today!
Cherry Pie:
Crust:
2 T unsweetened coconut flakes
1 T coconut flour
1 T coconut oil
1/2 scoop About Time vanilla protein whey isolate
1/8 t cinnamon
Filling:
1 c pitted cherries
1/3 c water
1/4 t cinnamon
3 dashes ginger
2 dashes salt
1 t arrowroot powder
1 packet Stevia- (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
For the crust, combine the dry ingredients together. Add in the coconut oil and fold in with your fingers
Place cherries in a small sauce pot with water and (optional Stevia). cook over high heat for 3 minutes. Add the teaspoon of arrowroot, mix well and contiguously stir for 1 minute. Turn off heat. Add cinnamon and salt, mix well
Use 3 small ramekins, lightly spray with non stick spray. Place 1 t of crumble mixture in bottom of ramekins, spread slightly. Add 2 heaping Tablespoons of cherry mixture into each ramekin, top with 2 t of crumble mix. Bake for 6 minutes or until golden brown. Yields 3 servings

Cherry Pie Smoothie:
10 pitted cherries
6 oz unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla About Time whey isolate
1 T oats
5 ice cubes
1/4 t cinnamon
3 dashes ginger
Place all items in the blender, blend, enjoy
