Date Banana Oat Cookies
These Date Banana Oat cookies are divine as an after dinner treat! Try placing them in the refrigerator to have them taste like a candy rather than a cookie
1 1/3 c quick oats
2/3 c sliced roasted almonds
1/2 c date puree
2 ripe bananas
2 scoops About Time Chocolate VE
2 T coconut oil
1 T flax meal
2 t cinnamon
1 t vanilla
3/4 t salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a food processor combine the bananas, dates, coconut oil, cinnamon, salt, flax meal and vanilla. Blend, scrape bowl and place batter into a medium mixing bowl. Add the Chocolate protein and mix with a wooden spoon. Ad the quick oats and mix well. Fold in the almonds. Using a small cookie scoop, fill heaping scoops of batter and place drops on a sprayed baking sheet. Once all batter is used up, gently press on each cookie slightly to flatten. Bake for 8 minutes rotating tray half way through. Remove from oven, remove from tray and place on a wire rack to cool. I used up some of the left over chocolate I had from the sunflower butter balls and slightly dipped one end of a few of these but you don’t have too
recipe yields 32 cookies
