In Season Eats – Fall Smoothies

We’re all witnesses to the recent farm-to-fork movement in the food and restaurant industry. Lately restaurants and cafes with the farm-to-table philosophy have been popping up just about everywhere! Restaurants like these are known for sourcing their ingredients locally, which is not only supporting your local growers and community, but also giving their customers super fresh and tasty seasonal dishes!

Now you don’t have to go to a “farm-to-table” restaurant just to get the freshest, in-season ingredients! You too can make seasonal eats at your house as well! Hop on over to your nearby farmers market and pick up some locally-grown deliciously fresh produce!

With the fall season right upon us, there are so many goodies to look forward too! A few of my absolute favorite fall produce items are sweet potatoes and apples! Short on ideas for what to make with these fall staple items? Check out these recipes for some fun, fresh, and healthy fall smoothies!
